These shoes are comfortable, lightweight. Fitting is good for my narrow feet with good support. I usually need to add an extra insoles to my shoes, but not with these so far.
When I bought these shoes they were good value for shoes with gor-tex lining (£60).
Not worn in very wet conditions so far so will update re how waterproof they are.
I dropped a star due to sizing issue. I ordered a size up. I am normally size 11, but often order size 12 in walking boots and for some walking shoes. These size 12's are only just long enough for me and are slightly shorter than my size 11 shoes I use for work. You may need to add 1 or 1 1/2 (if you like to wear thick socks) to normal size when ordering.
Package from Amazon supplier was unusually just the right size. It did take 10 days to arrive (3 days over estimated delivery date). Package was left on doorstep by carrier as I was out (I have a more secure place for packages to be left). Unusually no note left in post-box to advise this had been done.
I bought these shoes prior to a 3 month trek through South America. It was the first pair of Merrell's I have purchased. It was the only pair of shoes I took with me. Truth be told, it was the best shoes I have ever worn. We hiked virtually every day, including the Inca Trail and Laguna 69. I put these shoes to the test, but not once did they let me down. At the end of every day, my feet were fine, no pain etc. I highly recommend these shoes.
Just a word of caution: make sure you get the correct size. Their sizes vary somewhat to standard sizes.
